About Journey To Thrive Therapy Collective

Hi there, I’m so glad you’re here!

If we haven’t met yet, hi! I’m Ashley Silverio. I’m a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, pizza lover, and people-person! I’m also a mental health therapist in sunny Miami, FL.

I am passionate about helping clients on their personal journeys to thrive. I have worked within different community mental health settings allowing me opportunity to gain experience with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. After working with different populations through the years I have become uniquely understanding of the challenges of mental health. I have provided support to clients as they navigate the highs and lows of the demands of life, because let’s be real, in today’s world we are bombarded with never-ending life demands. Oftentimes we neglect ourselves at the cost of doing something for everyone else.

I’m not foreign to having been in therapy myself, because I believe that being supported by a mental health professional should be as regular as seeing a primary care physician. What I got from being in therapy was a feeling of validation, an unbiased person to hear me out, and someone who took me by the hand and navigated difficult waters with me. I in turn, have also had the privilege to do the same for my clients through the years, providing a space to be vulnerable and get from the place of feeling stuck to a place of thriving.

I’m determined to empower you to go from a place of hassle and struggle- to a place where you feel heard, supported, and ultimately thriving.

I have professionally worked in the field of mental health since 2014 when I got my bachelor’s degree in social work. I received my master’s degree in social work in 2016 from Florida International University and then later became licensed as a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Florida. After receiving my master’s, I have also been fortunate enough to complete specialized training in infant mental health and maternal mental health. My favorite part of being a therapist is being witness to stories of transformation from those that trust me on going on that intimate journey. Seeing how with the tools I share, it’s possible for people to meet their own desired goals. Or that the tools I offer help create that boost of confidence needed whether it’s in womanhood, parenthood, or both! Hearing stories like these is so rewarding and keeps me excitedly moving forward and doing this work.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!
