Women’s Issues

 Journey To Thrive

For most women these days life is a balancing act, juggling work and household tasks with romance and partners, children and family and social commitments. Women tend to overbook their schedules without penciling in time for self-care. I provide a space for women to consider their own wellbeing and to plan self-care into daily life.

Therapy is a place for women to unburden themselves and be vulnerable in a safe space. I provide perspective on relationships, habits, work-life balance and parenting as well as feedback on ways you can reach your personal goals. I also provide a space for venting and developing coping skills for stress.

Ways therapy can help women include:

  • Self-esteem issues
  • Emotional stability
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Work-life balance
  • Parenting
  • Social issues

Talking with a therapist can help you establish a better work-life balance, help reduce your mental load and be a safe space for you to vent about the stresses in your life. Together, we can identify the things you’d like to change about your life, create clear goals for your future and create a pathway to get to a more balanced and peaceful way of life.

Women have a tendency toward negative self-talk, overstimulated lifestyles and overbooked schedules. As a therapist and a woman myself, I provide a space for you to analyze your own life. Together we figure out what’s working for you, what isn’t working anymore and how to restructure your entire life to serve you, to reduce stress and to foster peace.

Maybe you’re experiencing sexism or stereotype issues at work or at home. Maybe you’re battling hormone imbalances, questioning your own judgment, or your’e feeling pushed aside by life’s daunting demands. Being a woman is tough and talking to a therapist can provide you with space to make life a little easier.
